Mine-Haulage Locomotives
They are designed as the prime mover for the horizontal rail track haulage of cargo and personnel in mines while occurrence of coal dust and methane (CH4) in the ambient air (up to 1.5 %). Such a locomotive consists of three parts: two cabins and the center part - engine room. The design of cabins offers to the driver appropriate comfort, a good view over the track, and a protection against accident, and finely, descending option to both sides. Both cabins are equipped with operating, control and safety devices and might be removed during the transport of the locomotive to underground. The driving unit is a four-strokes diesel engine with water cooling and indirect fuel injection. Its starting is possible through a low-pressure air starter. The power from the combustion engine to the axles with traveling wheels is transmitted through gear boxes on each axle. The hydraulic system of the transmission allows the continuous speeding-up taking advantage of the maximum torque moment, the continuous change of output parameters of the locomotive at stable input values of the combustion engine, and offers favorable dynamic characteristics, along with an overpower protection for the engine, and the efficient breaking down the locomotive.

LOCOMOTIVES FOR OPEN CAST MINING
The design of a narrow-gauge line locomotive is derived from mine hauling and gas-engine locomotives. Unlike the classical mine hauling locomotives, the locomotives DNH are intended for use on surface narrow-gauge lines at surface transportation, in mines, wood processing plants, brickworks, steam plants, etc. The locomotive with its performance meets the standard STN 28 0106 (Industrial and mining locomotives) and the standard DIN 21503. All long term knowledge of the manufacturer in the field of operation of the mine hauling locomotives was implemented in its design process. The locomotive is frame rail vehicle with two driving axles. The driving unit is a diesel engine. The output is transmitted to the travel wheels by use of hydrostatic transmission system (HSP) that converts the mechanical energy to hydraulic and vice versa. The torque moment is transferred from the HSP through axle gears and connected Cardan shaft to axles with forced-on traveling wheels. The double wheel axles are put in the antifriction bearings with spring and connected with the frame in both the horizontal and vertical directions by use of metal rubber silent blocks absorbing impacts during move over irregularities of the track, as well as vibrations and noice
